Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ScoreRight app and website, operated by ScoreRight LLC (“ScoreRight,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read the Subscriptions, free trial & billing section carefully — it explains when and how you are charged.

Using ScoreRight

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
You may use the service only for lawful, personal test preparation.
You agree not to misuse, copy, resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service or its content.

Subscriptions, free trial & billing

ScoreRight offers a free tier (a limited number of practice questions each day) and paid Premium subscriptions billed on a recurring basis. The available plans (for example monthly, quarterly, or annual) and their current prices are shown in the app at the time you subscribe.

Automatic renewal — please read. If you start a free trial, we collect a payment method up front. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription begins automatically and your payment method is charged for the plan you selected. Paid subscriptions then renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, and your payment method is charged each period, until you cancel.

Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently 7 days). We show your trial end date in the app and send a reminder before the trial converts. To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends.
How to cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings in the app. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
Founding-member and promotional pricing. Eligible early users may receive a limited-time discount (for example, a percentage off for a set number of months). Promotional pricing is temporary — after the promotional period the standard price applies. Promotions may be modified or ended at any time and cannot be combined unless we say so.
Price changes. We may change prices or plans. We will give advance notice as required by law, and any change applies to future billing periods, not periods you have already paid for.
Payments. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the amounts described above.

Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel at any time from Settings, as described above.
Except where required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. Cancelling stops future charges but does not retroactively refund the current period.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@scoreright.app and we will review it.

Educational use & no guarantee

ScoreRight is an independent study tool. Practice content is generated to resemble LSAT question formats and is provided for preparation purposes only. We do not guarantee any particular score, result, or admissions outcome.

ScoreRight is not affiliated with, authorized, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). LSAT® is a registered trademark of LSAC. We do not reproduce official test content.

Accounts & content

You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you (for example, storing your progress). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Intellectual property

The ScoreRight name, logo, software, and generated content are owned by ScoreRight LLC and protected by applicable law. All other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScoreRight LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at hello@scoreright.app so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the courts located in the District of Columbia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date; where required by law we will also notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
